In a Reiki session, energy is channeled either to a specific place where there is a particular concern, or to the person's whole body, depending on the ailment and the type of treatment. The therapist gently places their hands on the person in certain positions without exerting pressure or manipulation of any kind. The person is always clothed and the positions of the hands are always on areas that do not violate their privacy. A deep relaxation is felt during the treatment. Although Reiki is very effective, its effects are cumulative. To notice the results, a series of treatments of four sessions is usually recommended. In most cases, this number of sessions is enough to solve many problems such as stress, tension, anxiety, insomnia ... A Reiki practitioner does not diagnose illnesses, nor does it interfere with the usual procedures of conventional medicine.
